Certified in September 2007, I was the first Certified Callanetics™ Teacher in British Columbia and still one of only a handful in Canada. I've continually taught Callanetics™ classes in multiple community centres around Vancouver, as well as a privately hired spaces. I taught Callanetics™ classes at The Arbutus Club (an exclusive private members club) for over 10 years. In 2016, I was invited to LA to be a part of filming new Callanetics™ videos - the first release of official videos in 22 years.
Always in search of improving my knowledge and teaching, in 2017 I certified as a Pilates Instructor after completing over1000 apprenticeship hours. And in 2019, I certified as a Restorative Exercise Specialist™ through Nutritious Movement™.
Certified Callanetics™ Teacher
When I discovered Callanetics™ classes at The Edinburgh Callanetics™ Studio I was instantly hooked. It was the only exercise regime that I ever enjoyed and kept up with, and the results were great motivation. I continued going to classes for four years before moving to Vancouver in early 2006.
At the time, there were no Callanetics™ classes in Vancouver, nor anything like it. I missed the classes so much and the toning effect on my body shape, I sought to become a Callanetics™ teacher myself.
My arms and legs feel stronger. Linda is an excellent instructor. She is very attentive, easy going, flexible, supportive and funny. Regardless if you are a beginner or a veteran, she adapts to every skill level for each participant in the class. I plan to continue Callanetics for another 5 + years! ~ Jen
